Screenprinting Process Model Poster

The screenprinting technologies is inundated with hundreds of variables that must be overcome or certainly considered for each job that goes through the process. This explanatory poster lists 547 variables that is used to establish an explicit link between processes and the considerations to be made in a print job.

The model can be used to study the influence of main process variables (substrate, electronic pre-press, mesh stretching, stencil coating, exposure, ink/coating, fill blade, squeegee, press, drying/curing, and environment) on the immediate variables of the screenprinting technologies.

Another use for the poster is a guideline to use when establishing Standard Operating Procedures for each task within a department.

The colorful 30-inch x 40-inch wall-sized poster was created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. You will need the FREE Acrobat Reader to open and print the file. If you do not have a printer capable of producing a print of this size, you may choose to have the poster printed at a service center or you may print it on letter sized paper using the “tile” feature available in most small format printers.
