It all comes together at the press! That’s where the ink meets the substrate and the truth is told. Which is why the press operator is often looked upon as solely responsible for the saleability of the company’s product. It is down to them, after all, to ensure that the many variables that are inherent to the screenprinting process come together and work well once the job hits the press. Perhaps a more apt title, then, would be ‘press magician’!
