No matter what you are looking for, the Cuernavaca Social Group is the place to find it – a new home or a short-term rental, an automobile or used furniture, a maid or gardener, a particular type of grocery item, or maybe you want to start a new special interest group.

The purpose of the Cuernavaca Social Group is help the members integrate into the community in an online social environment by providing access to others with the information and resources needed. The group is composed of visitors, tourists, expatriates and long-term residents of Cuernavaca.

Within the Cuernavaca Social Group you will find an online social network much like Facebook or other social networks. If you have been to any of the online social networks you should find the site easy to navigate. You will find…

Activity Stream – This is where you will see notices about other member of the group. You will be able to comment on the notice and you can favorite it so that you can return to it from within your profile. At the top, you will be able to make your own comments for others to see and respond to.

Groups – This is where it gets interesting. There are open groups for discussion on various topics, as well as private groups. Do you have a need for a private group where only a few friends can meet and have discussions? We can set it up free of charge for you, if you have a group of 5 or more interested friends. Do you see a need for an open group that is not yet existent? Just ask and we will set it up. Contact us through the Contact Page in the Navigation Panel at the top of every page. You can invite those who you have befriended to join you in a group.

Group Forums – Within each group there is a forum where you will be able to create a topic of conversation. The title should be descriptive so that others will better understand the topic and click on it if there is interest. An example might be, “Looking for Gardener in Vista Hermosa”, “WTB – Home in Huitzilac”, “FS – Living Room Set.” You can also use the forums to ask questions about a great number of interests, i.e. “Has anyone been to PF Chang’s Restaurant”, “Is there a Bridge Group in Cuernavaca?”

Members – This is a directory of registered members on the Cuernavaca Social Group. Use this list to search for individuals with like interests that you may befriend or assist with an endeavor.

No matter where you are in the world, you can use this site to communicate with those in Cuernavaca and the surrounding area. Most of the list members are English speaking residents or visitors, many are also fluent in Spanish.
