Consequences-of-Behavior-Book

This is a must read book for anyone in the screenprinting technologies! Are you unintentionally choosing behavior that seems to set you on the road to disaster at every step? Many are and are not aware of it!

Consequences should make it clear what not to do, so they’re handy to have in your behavior management toolkit. However, the consequences do no good if you do not acknowledge them. A consequence is something that happens after you behave in a particular way. A consequence can be positive or negative. It really pays to put some thought into how and why you might use consequences.

If you overuse negative consequences or use them badly or inconsistently, they can have surprising and unwanted effects.

In this work, I tell the story of my dealings with Mike and David, operators of a textile screenprinting shop, however it is not about them. It is about you. And, you can learn a lot from the story.

This does not have a thing to do with which ink to use when printing light ink on a dark substrate, or what tension your 195 mesh should be. I’m not going to hold your hand or help you pay your bills, either.

And, if you are looking for something to read that will take away the pain of printing those 5000 shirts due out on Friday, then I recommend that you stop reading right now, because what you are going to read here is not going to stop the pain immediately. Stopping the pain is going to take some work, but it can be done.
