While a good number of manufacturers make screen racks they model them after the ancient baker\u2019s racks and therein lies a big problem. When using a baker\u2019s rack where the screens are slid in and out of the unit from the end, the screens will require more floor space to be removed from the baker\u2019s rack style.<\/p>\n

This rack, described in these pages is styled so that the frames slide into the unit sideways to save space when placing them into the unit or when removing them. This saves 13-inches of space on the 23-inch width frames and 6-inches on the 25-inch width frames. It also saves on shelving material as the material need only be 25-inches instead of 36-inches for each of the two pieces needed for each screen. This 30-percent savings is important to the cost of the unit for those working on a budget.<\/p>\n
