Description
This print is from an original painting that is also for sale on this site.
All my life I have heard the old adage, “The grass isn’t always greener!” Like many adages is it not necessarily true, as it depends on your viewpoint.
As a world traveler, I have always found that for me the grass is always greener. I believe that only because I always look for reasons to think positively about other places, as I attempt to be a positive person.
This painting is fictional in that the place only exists in my mind. The phrase “The grass isn’t always greener” is rampant in my mind currently. It is a message to those that seek growth or renewal in life to never give up the past that brought you to where you are. There is solace in familiar things.
I find myself using more green in my paintings. Green is a lovely color, drawing our interest for many reasons. Green is the color of life, of nature itself. Abundant in nature, green signifies growth, renewal, health, and the environment. A restful color, green has some of the same calming attributes of blue. Like blue, time moves faster when surrounded by green.
The purpose was to create a calming and end a day filled with opportunities for a renewed life of growth and health at the next morning’s dawn. I hope you believe I have succeeded.
