Cuernavaca Social Community is our informal social gathering for Coffee, Connection, and Conversation. We started as the Coffee Klatch in 2009 for members of the Newcomers Club who wanted to get together more often than once a month and have, through several changes of venues and times. Now, we meet once a week, every Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon at Gramo Café, located in the Teopanzolco Cultural Center, next to the Teopanzolco Pyramids in Vista Hermosa.
We chose a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, with on-premise security and an excellent ambiance.
It is about “quality time in good company,” and sharing the moment with others. The most important aspect is to hit pause, slow down, and enjoy the present moment. Members use the time for conversation, to build connections, or to relax and recharge, which can lead to new ideas and stronger relationships.
It’s more than just a break, a fundamental part of culture and a celebrated ritual; it’s a mindset of pausing to savor life’s small joys and create positive social experiences.
Each week, there will be a notice on the front page of Viva Cuernavaca under the Events link on the navigation menu. We also send an email to those who are subscribers.
