Frank Blanco, Jr entered the screen printing field in 1971 as a chemist for Colonial Printing Ink Company, now part of Coates Screen. Before working in the screen printing industry, Frank worked as a lab technician for Interchemical Corporation, as a chemist for American Litho Varnish Company, and as Olivetti Underwood. Currently, Frank works for Nazdar as the Senior Vice President for Sales.
In the early 70s, he worked on developing graphic ink systems. In the mid-1970s worked on further developing plastisol ink systems and the development of UV curable ink systems.
Frank has delivered presentations at SGIA Conventions since 1982. In addition, he participated in the SGIA Technical Symposiums in 1981 and 1988. Frank was inducted into the Academy of Screenprinting Technology in 1994
Frank has also offered presentations at the Imprinted Sportswear Shows and at the Association for Finishing Processes of SMEs. Frank has published the following works:
