Wolfgang Pfirrmann – He began his career in screenprinting at Domberger KG, Filderstadt, Germany, from 1976 to 1979, where he apprenticed as a screenprinter. He then spent the next five years, from 1979 to 1984, doing freelance work and consulting in screenprinting. He then worked as a screenprinter and production manager in Hamburg for two years. In 1986 Pfirrmann was hired by Svecia Screen Printing Machines, Stockholm, Sweden, as their Training Manager.
During the last eight years of his career in screenprinting, Pfirrmann has concentrated on developing and marketing Computer-To-Screen Systems for KIWO and Kissel + Wolf.
Before this time, Pfirrmann was responsible for the applied research labs of KIWO, Texas, and Germany. While in charge of the labs, Pfirrmann developed new stencil quality measurement systems that he introduced to the industry. Throughout his career, commencing with his apprenticeship as a screenprinter and continuing through his positions as a screenprinter, production manager, training manager, and product manager, Pfirrmann has accumulated extensive experience in all areas screenprinting.
Pfirrmann has written myriad technical articles on screenprinting and screenmaking for trade magazines and trade association publications in the USA, Central America, Central Europe, and Asia. He is a frequent speaker and seminar conductor at industry conventions, trade associations sponsoring educational programs, and at trade organizations.
Pfirrmann has also developed many educational programs for screenprinters and universities offering graphic arts programs. He has extensive experience developing and conducting seminars, technical workshops, and continuing education programs for screenprinters and at universities with graphic arts programs.
He has particularly enjoyed supervising and mentoring apprentices during their education as screenprinters and co-op students in undergraduate and graduate cooperative programs.

Managed the Applied Research Department, and developed educational seminars and training programs for customers, industry, and faculty members of technical schools. Researched and introduced new quality control concepts in the screenprinting industry. Developed automated coating equipment and researched influencing parameters on screen making.
1991 – 1996 – KIWO Inc, Seabrook, TX, USA, Manager Applied Research Group. Introduced a new stencil quality control concept (Rz Measurement) to the North American market and continued research of parameters influencing stencil making.
1996 – 2002 – KIWO Inc, Seabrook, TX, Vice President Digital Products Division. Researched new technologies suitable for adaptation to screen imaging. Managed product development, marketing, and sales of digital screen imaging products.
1997 – Inducted into the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technology (ASDPT).
2002 – 2003 – Kissel + Wolf GmbH, Wiesloch, Germany, Manager Digital Systems Division. Researched new technologies suitable for adaptation to screen imaging. Managed product development and implemented sales channels for digital screen imaging products.
2003 to 2014 – Industry and Manufacturer Consultant, providing expertise in Computer-To-Screen Imaging and general screenprinting.
2014 to Present – Principal Owner of Reich Fauchet Design, LLC – RFD Custom Homes in Houston, Texas. The company offers Custom Home Design and Construction, Architectural Design Services, New Home construction, and major remodels.
