Anders Nilsson – FESPA Board Member and Past President

Anders represents the Nordic region on the FESPA board of directors.  He joined the Board in 2000 and was FESPA President from 2007 until FESPA 2010.

He is responsible for all activities of FESPA as President and also sits on the FESPA Finance Committee. Active in the screen printing industry for almost 30 years, Anders joined the Swedish Screen printing Association in 1995 and became its president in 1998.

Anders is a qualified mechanical engineer and apprenticed screen printer, and has had professional stints in many areas of the graphic arts industry, including business forms printing, papermaking, and as European sales manager for a major supplier of graphics consumables.

He acquired Gamleby Screen in 1992 and has developed the company – which is located in the southeast of Sweden, about 250km from Stockholm – into one of the prominent screen printing operations in Sweden. The business serves the regional needs of multi-national corporations as well as a local client base. Gamleby Screen is focused on large format screen and digital production, especially point-of-sale materials, and specialises in printing on plastic substrates for sign and banner applications and vehicle graphics.

Married with three grown-up children, Anders takes his inspiration from the great outdoors, spending time in his summer house off the Swedish coast, and riding his Harley Davidson.
