Ed operated Blazer Screenprint Company at 1130 South Halsted Street in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Many will remember Ed as the printer of the Chicago Blue T-shirts.

During 1994-96, Blazer hired industry consultant Joe Clarke, who developed a proprietary garment printing process, which Clarke coined Photo Realism. Clarke won several Golden Squeegee Awards with his Photo Realism.

At a trade show once, Ed Blazer told me, “Don’t ever lose sight of the fact that in the end, every T-shirt we print will become a rag used to wash someone’s car. Except, of course, those with beautiful designs printed on them. So the art has to be great if you want to sell them to people who will appreciate them and take care of them!” – Bill Hood
