Guy MasseGuy Masse – After graduating from the University of Western Brittany (at Brest, France) in 1986 with a Doctorate of Chemistry degree, and after his military obligations (as a chemist working on antidotes against phosphorus-based toxic gas), Masse entered the graphic arts industry in 1988.

He began his career as the Research and Development Manager at Brancher, a French offset ink manufacturer, employed from 1988 to 1966. While with Brancher, he specialized in UV offset, dry offset, waterless offset, letterpress, and flexo printing inks.

In 1996, he joined Encres Dubuit, which brought him into the world of the screenprinting process. As the Research and Development Manager for Encres Dubuit, Masse is in charge of the formulation and development of new products in different areas : optical discs (CD, DVD, BD, CD-R, DVDR, BD-R, CDRW, DVDRW, BD-RE), label market (flatbed and rotary screen, products for combi presses), direct printing on objects (PE, PP, PET, glass), packaging market, automotive dials and membrane switches, card market, products with special effects or functionalities. He is also in charge of the technological survey (for example, the digital printing processes, the electronic inks (electrographic displays, membrane switches, products for photovoltaic cells, RFID)

He has written articles on labels, DVD, and glass printing and presented at conferences worldwide (in the label market and optical disc printing).

Masse is a 2008 inductee into the Academy of Screen and Digital Print Technologies (ASDPT).
