Hans Gerd-Scheer is a 1977 inductee into the Academy of Screen and Digital Print Technologies (ASDPT).
Gerd-Scheer won the first Swormstedt Award in 1978. He went on to win four Swormstedt Awards for 1978, 1980, 1987, and 1999.
