In this role, he manages a dedicated \u201cink\u201d team of fifteen people fully focused on digital textile printing and who are responsible for research &amp; technology of inks, pilot production and sales &amp; marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Myers began his career in a textile processing mill before taking a technical sales role in Hong Kong in 1994 to develop the North Asia textile chemical markets with Allied Colloids and latterly Ciba Specialty Chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>He then moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 1999 to take up a role with Ciba Specialty Chemicals as the regional marketing manager textile chemicals serving the India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka markets.<\/p>\n<p>In 2003 Mr. Myers moved to Basel, Switzerland and became involved with the \u201cstart up\u201d of the digital ink business as product manager and in 2005 became global business manager.<\/p>\n<p>Born in the United Kingdom, Mr. Myers holds an LSDC\u00a0 in Textile Chemistry from Bradford University, achieved while working full time in the textile industry.\u00a0 His interests include all sports and his hobbies, golf and fishing.\u00a0 Mr. Myers and his wife, Rebecca, presently live in Basel, Switzerland and have a daughter of five years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kevin Myers is the Global Digital Printing business manager of Huntsman Textile Effects based in Basel, Switzerland.
