Danemon patented the process that same year.<\/p>\n<p>Profilm Corporation V. Blumenstock, (S.D.N.Y. 1940)<\/p>\n<p>In 1940, ProFilm Corporation filed a patent infringement suit against Hyman Blumenstock (Morris Blumenstock and Henry Blumenstock, co-partners) who were doing business under the name of Silk Screen Stencil Paper. On final hearing on nonjury civil calendar for infringement by defendant (Blumenstock) of claims Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of United States Patent No. 1,781,834, granted November 18, 1930 to Louis F. D&#8217;Autremont for a stencil sheet on an application filed May 6, 1929, under Serial No. 360,754. District Judge Woolsey ruled for the plaintiff (Louis F.
