Guy H. Robinson (1879-1949) a pioneer in the screenprinting technologies, was the founder of G. H. Robinson Screen Printing which produced Tire Covers in Chicago. Robinson was a pioneer in the screenprinting technologies and was credited with important developments in screenprinting during his life. He retired in 1949 and sold the firm.<\/p>\n
Robinson was born in 1879 in Earlville, Cook County Illinois, to William H. Robinson (New York), and Mary E. Loveless (Indiana). On 15 February 1911, he married Matilda (Mathilda) M. Binder (b 1881 in Illinois). The couple had one daughter, Mary E. Robinson Madison of Berwyn born about 1917 in Illinois. The family lived at 1212 W. Roosevelt Road, Broadview, Cook County, Illinois until his death in 1949.<\/p>\n
He is buried at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville, La Salle<\/p>\n
