1979 – Founded the U.S. Screen Printing Institute<\/p>\n

1979 – Begin writing articles for the screenprinting industry, presenting seminars at various trade shows<\/p>\n

1985 – Co-wrote, along with wife Pat Fresener, The Encyclopedia of Garment Printing<\/em><\/p>\n

1989 – Impressions Magazine<\/em> reader\u2019s poll voted the Freseners “the most influential couple of the last ten years” and the Institute and books were voted the “best technical material and training in the industry” by the Impressions Magazine<\/em> Quest for the Best<\/em> competition.<\/p>\n

1989 and 1992 – Scott and the Institute received the coveted Magnus Award<\/em> from the Specialty Graphics Imaging Association for contributions to the industry.<\/p>\n

1993 – Invited to be the “Textile Judge” for the first annual Asia-Pacific Screen Printing competition and trade show in Singapore.<\/p>\n

1995 – Inducted into Academy of Screen and Digital Print Technologies (ASDPT).<\/p>\n

1995 – Co-founded Screenprinter.net forum with son, Michael Fresener<\/p>\n

1996 – Wrote a book titled The T-Shirt Book<\/em> for a large national publisher.<\/p>\n

1996 – Awarded the Screenprinting and Graphics Imaging Association’s prestigious Parmele Award<\/em><\/p>\n

2001 – Featured in the documentary film The History of the T-Shirt<\/em>.<\/p>\n

2002 – One of Impressions Magazine<\/em>‘s Top 25 Leading Industry Innovators<\/em>.<\/p>\n

2002-2004 – Chairman of the\u00a0Specialty Graphics Imaging Association Textile Committee<\/em><\/p>\n

2004-2007 – Board of Directors of Specialty Graphics Imaging Association Textile Committee<\/em><\/p>\n

Over the years, Fresener has written over 250 articles for industry trade magazines. He continues to write articles on screenprinting and computer graphics, produce video and DVDs for the screenprinting and computer graphics industries.<\/p>\n
