It’s official. Cruz Azul officially announced the move of the women’s team to its new home, the Estadio Centenario in Cuernavaca, Morelos, after a long stay as their main field at the La Noria training facility.
The statement released today, December 15, 2025 stated ahead of the Clausura 2026 tournament, “Starting in 2026… THE CENTENARIO STADIUM, NEW HOME OF CRUZ AZUL WOMEN’S TEAM. ¡La Máquina llega a Cuernavaca, Morelos!”
The news was first shared on the official social media accounts of the Government of the State of Morelos after a press conference led by the Governor Margarita González Saravia, and Víctor Manuel Velázquez Rangel, president of the Cruz Azul Football Club.
This comes at a change for the team, which has played most of its home games at the La Noria facilities in Mexico City since the formation of the women’s league. During the playoffs of the last tournament, the team had the opportunity to play a match at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario. This experience could have been a prelude to the search for a new home. Cruz Azul reached the semifinals and came close to advancing to the final; however, they were defeated by Tigres, who ultimately won another title.
Let’s show support for Cruz Azul and welcome them to our city by attending the games. The field is conveniently located in North Cuernavaca.
