Movilidad Y Transporte Operations Moves

In an attempt at consolidating their offices, the State of Morelos is moving all Movilidad Y Transporte operations at Plaza Cristal to Calle Cuauhtemotzin 1 in Col. Club de Golf.

The new location allows them to use the large covered parking lot at the Mega Soriana Hiper grocery on Morelos across the street from their offices. The new location puts them in the same neighborhood as the Land Office and Predial Office, Sapac, Secretary de Desarrollo and other government offices.

Once completed, all services will be offered in one place. To avoid extremely long lines transactions are by appointment only.

As with much of the State of Morelos transactions will be by appointment only. Appointments are scheduled between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm, and may be made at http://citas.morelos.gob.mx.

However, be aware that in Mexico having an appointment does not guarantee that there will not be a waiting period. They over-schedule to ensure that there will not be gaps in the service and only guess at the length of time each will take. Thus, there will be a line outside of the building. which grows longer by the hour and wait becomes longer. There is a person assigned to check those getting in line to ensure that they are on time. If you arrive late, you will be sent home and will need to make another appointment at some time in the future. And, you can expect that the line will be cut off at the end of the day, and if they do not finish with everyone in the line, anyone left will be sent home and told to return at the opening time the next work day.

The web site offers a huge list of services provided with details of documents needed & prices.

If you arrive early, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or juice and a pastel at Helen Anderson’s Pastelería y Cafeterìa just one block south at Plutarco Elías Calles 9. Yes, that is the same Helen that has been making cakes for all of Cuernavaca since 1980, when she arrived in the city as a youngster.
