Your next great friendship awaits you!
Did you know that Cuernavaca is growing at an exceptional rate of 44 new residents each day? And, a trip down San Diego past the Immigration Office will suffice to point out that many of those new arrivals are foreigners applying for residency.
Cuernavaca’s metropolitan area consists of the seven municipalities of Emiliano Zapata, Huitzilac, Jiutepec, Temixco, Tepoztlán, Xochitepec, and Tlaltizapán. Together, the metro area population in 2026 is estimated to be 1,172,340 inhabitants with an annual population increase of about 15,980 residents over the previous year.
Yes, 44 people are moving to the metro area each day.
Membership Drive
The Cuernavaca Social Community is in a constant state of growth as we continue to pick up new members. Members are leading busy lives in the bustling Cuernavaca metro area and find it difficult to attend our meetups each week. Thus, attendees can always count on new faces in the group, providing for new friendships. Everyone is welcome to this event.
This past week, we had English-speaking attendees from Belgium, Canada, Chile, France, Holland, South Korea, United States and of course Mexico. Most of the attendees speak Spanish, and the gender ratio was approximately 70% women.
We welcomed new residents Jooyong Ahn and Suzanne Mitchell Ahn to Cuernavaca.
