Learn the Truth About Curing Textile Inks – Recently a client wrote to ask about a client who brought back a dozen shirts of an order that has not laundered well. The rest of the order was fine. They were pretty sure it wasn’t the ink as they had printed other orders from the same bucket without problems. They assumed that the dozen shirts were undercured, but they didn’t understand why, since the dozen shirts had gone through the same process as the remainder of the order.

Of course, the problem is apparently under curing. This is why the ink would have been cured on some and have washed away on others. And, there was that confounding uneven washout that looked like clouds.
